Global Social Leaders

Global Social Leaders was created in 2011 by Future Foundations and Wellington Leadership Institute.  Both organizations have extensive experience, credentials and awards for their work with young people, leadership, and character building. This year's theme was Small Actions, Big Impact – focusing on how we can create ripple effects of change and harness our passions to make the world a better place. On the 17th and 18th of June 2021, participants experienced a mixture of inspirational speakers, interactive workshops and a showcase of international student-led projects, to develop the confidence, leadership and global understanding that promotes social harmony.

Competing in GSL helped us gain better insight into the goal we were trying to achieve. The competition taught us how to be better leaders, improved our problem-solving skills and resource management. It helped us learn more about the issue we're trying to tackle.

small little things believes the real win is yet to come- and that is when we achieve all our goals and missions.
