More than 150 million children in places such as Iraq, Yemen, and Syria, do not have access to healthcare, quality education, proper sanitation, or a state of happiness and well-being due to multi-dimensional poverty and conflict. In armed conflict, children are often deliberately targeted or not protected adequately — or both. Grave violations of children’s rights – recruitment, abductions, killing, and maiming continue unabated. Millions of children have been born since the crisis began, growing up knowing nothing but war and displacement. Without a healthy learning environment, children are made vulnerable and robbed of a future. Becoming trapped between the disputes of the states, and not being able to express oneself, children frequently undergo depression and anxiety, and later on, might suffer from post-traumatic stress. Even amidst our current pandemic, we must do our part to support the deprived half.

Our Youth Well-Being Workshops provide us with the chance to get involved in the community and meet new and exciting faces from all walks of life.
